Bio:

Coach Langway was born and raised in Beltsville, MD located in Prince George’s County. He has wrestled and played soccer at the high school level, but baseball has been an unwavering part of his life. Since the age of 5 he has consistently played middle infield, 3rd base, outfield, and pitched. Coach Langway took his game to St. Vincent Pallotti High School where he was named Most Outstanding Sophomore, ’07 Captain, 1st Team All-MIAA (2), 2nd Team All-County (2), as well as winning a ’06 MIAA Conference Championship.  He continued his education at The Catholic University of America, where he started all four years while winning 3 of 4 Landmark Conference Championships (’08, ‘09, ‘11). While at Catholic, Langway obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History. From there, he returned to Prince George’s County and currently teaches at DuVal High School. In the 2014-15 season, Coach Langway became the Assistant Baseball Coach at DuVal High School. After only one year, he was promoted to Head Coach. As a first year Head Coach with a record of (13-3), Langway was selected to coach one of two PG County Senior All-Star Teams and was awarded DuVal’s Head Coach of the Year (2015-16). Langway is looking forward to leading the team and is determined to teach all phases of the game. His motivation and understanding of the game will be a great asset to the team and players of the DuVal baseball program.
