Parkdale Runs Away With Early Lead In Victory
DuVal Tigers Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 13-9 loss to Parkdale on Saturday. Parkdale scored on a single by Steven Osario in the first inning, a double by Chris Tollenhno in the first inning, and a triple by Mckal Humphries in the second inning.
DuVal Tigers Varsity collected ten hits and Parkdale had 13 in the high-scoring affair.
Parkdale got things started in the first inning. Osario drove in one when he singled.
Cody Compton led the Parkdale to victory on the pitcher’s mound. He surrendered four runs on six hits over two and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking zero.
Destiny Omozogie took the loss for DuVal Tigers Varsity. He lasted seven innings, allowing 13 hits and 13 runs.
Hunter Morgan started the game for Parkdale. He allowed four hits and five runs over four and a third innings, striking out seven.
