DuVal Tigers Varsity Stymied By Wise, Lose 16-4

DuVal Tigers Varsity had a tough time generating runs on Saturday, dropping their game with Wise 16-4.

DuVal Tigers Varsity got things started in the first inning. Aaron Hemmans singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.

In the bottom of the first inning, Wise tied things up at two when Jackson singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Wise pulled away for good with four runs in the second inning. In the second Gomez singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run and Reed tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Wise scored nine runs in the third inning. Wise offense in the inning was led by Hunter, Gomez, Marshall, Reed, Myers, and Partman, all driving in runs in the inning.

Justyn Bunkley led DuVal Tigers Varsity with two hits in three at bats. DuVal Tigers Varsity tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Hemmans led the way with four.

Wise totaled eight hits. Jackson and Myers all collected multiple hits for Wise. Wise stole 12 bases during the game as five players stole more than one. Reed led the way with two.
