Coach Langway was born and raised in Beltsville, MD. He wrestled, played soccer, and baseball at St. Vincent Pallotti High School. He continued his education at The Catholic University of America, where he continued to play baseball. While at Catholic U, Langway obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History. From there, he returned to Prince George’s County and currently teaches Technology and is the Head Baseball Coach at DuVal High School.

In the 2014-15 season, Coach Langway became the Assistant Baseball Coach at DHS. He was named Head Coach the following year and has a current record of (24-8). Over the past two years, Langway has been selected to coach one of two PG County Senior All-Star Teams and was awarded DuVal’s Head Coach of the Year back-to-back years. In addition to a teacher and coach, Coach Langway is the Assistant Athletic Director, Game Manager for home athletic events, and the Supervisor of Athletic Training & Sports Medicine. Recently, Coach Langway was named “Coach of the Week.”

As Supervisor of the Sports Medicine Program, Langway oversees 10 reliable, committed, and dedicated Student Trainers who are responsible for assisting the Certified Athletic Trainer (Duncan Graham) with his duties. One Student Trainer in particular is, Jatiya Stewart. Coach Langway stated, “Jatiya is an outstanding Student Trainer, as well as team captain of the Sports Medicine Team, in all respects. She has proven that through hard work, follow through, and team work, she can accomplish tasks in a courteous and timely manner. Jatiya has done a tremendous job setting the bar so high throughout her fours years here at DuVal.” Just like Jatiya, all Student Trainers are held to a higher standard by maintaining a high level of reliability not only in the performance of their duties but in the classroom as well. Participants are viewed and recognized as representatives of DuVal High School’s Athletic Department. Participants must uphold and abide by all Sports Medicine Program and Athletic Department rules and regulations. The Sports Medicine Team is always looking for more candidates. The preferred candidate must have an excellent work ethic, be committed to the Sports Medicine Program, have strong ethical integrity, and be compatible with the current staff.

Coach Langway resides in Anne Arundel County with his fiancé, one-year-old son, and Olde English Bulldog.
