Tigers News · David Kosloski named new Head Football Coach

The DuVal High School Athletic Department and Administration is pleased to announce the hiring of our new Head Varsity Football Coach, Mr. David Kosloski. Coach Kosloski has served as the Interim Head Varsity Football Coach since February. Since being named Interim Head Coach, Kosloski has revamped the football program and a culture centered around athletes and success. He has implemented an offseason winter/spring conditioning program that began in February and lasted through the end of May. Coach Kosloski has also incorporated social media accounts to promote positive news/events for the football program.

Mr. Kosloski, a teacher at DuVal, is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and has taught at DHS for the past three years. He currently teaches Advanced Placement Psychology; Advanced Placement U.S. Government; and Local, State, and National Government.

Coach Kosloski’s mission statement reads, “The DuVal High School football program will promote academic, athletic, and personal excellence at all times and will demand that all of its student-athletes approach life with a ‘championship’ attitude and a commitment to improve on a daily basis.”

Coach Kosloski has coached football for five years, and at DuVal for the past year. He has previously coached in Pennsylvania, more specifically at Coughlin High School and Lake-Lehman High School.

The Athletic Department and Administrative Team believes that Coach Kosloski understands the challenges that our student-athletes face while in the classroom and on the field. We will continue to support Coach Kosloski and ensure that all students are provided with a quality educational experience at DuVal High School.
