DuVal Tigers Can’t Hold Up Against Parkdale

DuVal Tigers had trouble keeping up with Parkdale in a 5-0 loss on Monday.

A single by Justyn Bunkley in the first inning was a positive for DuVal Tigers .

Israel Velasquez earned the win for Parkdale. He tossed seven innings, allowing zero runs, eight hits, striking out 14, and walking one. Bunkley took the loss for DuVal Tigers . He threw one and two-thirds innings, allowing one run, three hits, striking out one, and walking zero.

Ernesto Medina-Contreras started the game for DuVal Tigers . He threw two innings, giving up zero runs, one hit, striking out two, and walking zero.

DuVal Tigers collected eight hits. Bunkley, Medina-Contreras, and Maurice Lyles each collected multiple hits for DuVal Tigers . Lyles, Medina-Contreras, and Bunkley all had two hits to lead DuVal Tigers . DuVal Tigers didn’t commit a single error in the field. Malik Clarke had the most chances in the field with seven.

Parkdale had nine hits in the game. Chris Tolletino, Velasquez, and Padson Vargas each collected multiple hits for Parkdale. Parkdale tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases.
