DUVAL HIGH SCHOOL GOLF TEAM RULES AND EXPECTATIONS

The rules and expectations are for the growth and professionalism of all golfers who represent the DuVal High School Golf Team. The coaching staff and the administration of  DuVal High School will strictly enforce these rules and expectations.

 

THE CORE BELIEFS AND RULES OF THE DUVAL HIGH SCHOOL GOLF TEAM

1. RESPONSIBILITY- Do what needs to be done

2. RESPECT- For self and others

3. COMMITMENT- To the team and academics

4. TEAMWORK- Pick up one another when the other is down.

5. Profanity will not be tolerated at any time.

6. Student athletes should display good sportsmanship at all times, this includes respect to all players, golf course personnel, parents, coaches, and any other players on the golf course.

7. If a problem arises, follow the team communication policy. Player-Player problem 1. Discuss directly with the other player involved. 2. Discuss with coach. B. Player-Coach 1. Discuss with coach.  2. Discuss with coach and parent.  3. Discuss with coach, parents and athletic director.

8. All players are expected to observe proper golf course etiquette at all times.

9. Student athletes are responsible for proper care of all equipment checked out to them, and it must be returned on time in the same condition it was in when checked out or be billed for the cost of replacing it.

10. Have fun and support each other.
